Quentin Tarantino Gives Advice to American Idol Contestants, Judges Terrified
Quentin Tarantino will be the guest mentor for the contestants on American Idol this week. No, really. He will.
Quentin Tarantino might not be a singer himself, but with music-filled films like Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and the Kill Bill series under his belt, he's no stranger to picking the right song – something he's sure to share with the American Idol contestants next week on "Idols at the Movies."
On Tuesday's show, Quentin will mentor Kris Allen, Anoop Desai, Matt Giraud, Danny Gokey, Allison Iraheta, Adam Lambert and Lil Rounds as they perform songs from the big screen, FOX announced.
The movie magic will continue the following night, when Season 3 finalist and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson returns to the Idol stage to perform her new single, "If This Isn't Love," and teen queen Miley Cyrus will sing "The Climb" from Hannah Montana The Movie.
This marks Quentin's second time on the FOX reality show. He was a guest judge on the third season of Idol.
But it's Quentin Tarantino. We can't wait to see what kind of advice he doles out. "No, no, no!! I said MORE BLOOD!! And who taught you to swing a sword like that? And why are you wearing shoes??? Show off those hot toes!! This is a love song!! Oh for $%#@&*) sake!!!!!!!!"
