McDonald's Plans to Hire 50,000 Employees on April 19
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that McDonald's is planning a nationwide hiring event on April 19. The company plans to hire as many as 50,000 new U.S. employees. In addition to finding more workers, McDonald's will also use the event to highlight that many of its office employees started out working in McDonald's restaurant. The WSJ calls the move an attempt to give the "McJob" term a more positive spin.
