For the Christian Dior fall 2010 ready to wear collection shown in Paris earlier this month, John Galliano said he was inspired by the "lusty, 17th century libertine, the 2nd Earl of Rochester." He also said that he was inspired by Mr. Dior's beloved English riding tweeds, so the equestrian theme was also quite evident.
