Sarah Palin Pitching Alaska Show to Networks

Sarah Palin Book Cover PhotoThe Hollywood Reporter says for Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is pitching a tv show to networks with the working title, Sarah Palin's Alaska. The documentary reality series would involve Sarah Palin giving a tour of Alaska. Both A&E Networks and Discovery are said to be interested but not necessarily at Sarah Palin's steep asking price of $1 million to $1.5 million an episode.
A&E Networks hasn't officially put in a bid for the project, but the company apparently is interested in the project for several of its brands: A&E, History or Lifetime.

Discovery likewise is vying for the project for one or more of its outlets, including TLC. Palin is asking for $1 million-$1.5 million per episode, a hefty amount for a first-year cable series.
Sarah Palin's Alaska documentary could be unintentionally amusing and weird if there are any scenes like the 2008 incident when Sarah Palin held a news conference in front of a turkey slaughterhouse.
