Marcel Vigneron to Star in SyFy's Marcel's Quantum Kitchen
Reality TV Worldreports that Marcel Vigneron is going to star in a new reality tv show on the Syfy channel called Marcel's Quantum Kitchen. Marcel Vigneron is a molecular gastronomist. He was the runner-up on season two of Top Chef. On the reality show, Marcel will have to create themed cuisine for a variety of clients.
Each Marcel's Quantum Kitchen episode will follow the molecular gastronomist and his new catering and event company as they concoct a theme and cuisine at the request of different clientele. Events Vigneron will plan include a fairytale graduation party, a Goth-rock fashion show, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new subway line.
Intuitive Entertainment is producing Marcel's Quantum Kitchen for Syfy. Syfy was previously known as the Sci Fi Channel. The network rebranded itself so it could broaden its scope to include fantasy, paranormal, reality, mystery, action and adventure, as well as science fiction. And -- apparently -- cooking shows, as well.
