We've learned recently that the rumor that Freida Pinto would be signing with Estee Lauder is not true. But maybe this rumor that Freida will be the next Bond girl will turn out to be true.
Executive producer Barbara Broccoli is eager for her to join the cast - after earmarking Slumdog director Danny Boyle for the top job.
A source said: "Freida came to the attention of the Bond team when they were casting Quantum of Solace.
"She was too young at the time to have a part as a love interest for a secret agent.
"But she has blossomed into an incredibly stunning young woman and would look perfect on Daniel Craig's arm."
The Sun also says that Slumdog Millioinaire director Danny Boyle could be directing the next Bond film, which would
naturally give Freida a great chance of signing on as well.
"Danny Boyle is favourite to take the helm of the next movie, which would increase Freida's chances of a starring role."
Freida, who has befriended A-Listers including Angelina Jolie, hired Kate Winslet's LA agent in her bid for success.
Freida is certainly the focus of a lot of attention and rumors. She will have to careful about which projects she selects. Hopefully, a role on the next Bond movie will be one of them. Jennifer Aniston would be a great choice as well.
