Rio de Janeiro's Christ the Redeemer Statue Undergoes Renovation
Rio de Janeiro's 125 foot tall Christ the Redeemer statue, created by French sculptor Paul Landowski, is undergoing renovations to protection it from the elements. The statue has already sustained rain and lightning damage. The Associated Press says the renovations will cost around 4 million dollars.
