Apple started taking pre-orders for the Wi-Fi only and 3G versions of its new iPad device today. Reservations for the iPad are limited to two per customer. The cheaper Wi-Fi only version will start being sold on April 3rd. Apple is promising to deliver the gadget to people who pre-order. The on sale date for the 3G iPad has not been announced but it is expected to be available in early May, 2010.
MacRumors reports that over 50,000 iPads were sold in the first two hours. There have been reports of pre-ordering bugs, especially for people using the Google Chrome browser.
