Christophe Decarnin took us out to the disco with his fall 2009 ready to wear collection for Balmain. The shoulders are futuristic and sharp, the shorts are super short and the embellishment was sparkly: clearly Decarnin never met a sequin he didn't like. We love crystals, sequins and bugle beads too: this collection made us want to pull out the sequined miniskirts and go dancing. The one shoulder trend is firmly entrenched for fall and the colors -- black, white and cobalt are pure distilled eighties fun.
