Engadget is reporting that 3D glasses for Sony's new 3D LCD TVs will cost about $133 each. You will also need an infrared emitter which costs about $55. Engadget says Sony's LX900 3D TV will come with two sets of the glasses.
Sony's price meets earlier expectations that the 3D glasses would cost a family of four about $400 to $800. The 3D glasses prices probably need to come down considerably for 3D TV to go mainstream.
