2010 Oscar Fashions: Kathryn Bigelow and Barbra Streisand
Barbra Streisand presented Kathryn Bigelow with the Best Director Oscar for Kathryn's work on The Hurt Locker. Kathryn wore a titanium silk satin Yves Saint Laurent Edition Soir gown by Stefano Pilati. The sleeveless gown featured hand embroidery on the bodice. Kathryn accessorized the look with Yves Saint Laurent silver t-strap sandals and a YSL titanium satin clutch.
Her diamond earrings and bracelet were by Boucheron. Her red plastic wrist band is worn in support of The Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation, which assists bomb disposal technicians injured in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Barbra opted for a Randolph Duke black tuxedo skirt and jacket, with an ivory lace blouse with a plunging neckline. The black skirt featured a side slit. It's an unusual look for Barbra who has worn some amazing gowns, but it's extremely flattering and really fun. Barbra accessorized the look with a string of diamond necklaces and diamond earrings. We think she should have amped up the eye makeup a bit, though, to set off her gorgeous eyes.
