Borders to Sell Exclusive New Moon DVD, Host New Moon Parties
Borders will be selling an exclusive New Moon DVD set and hosting New Moon DVD release parties on March 19th. The regular Blu-ray and DVD will be carried by all retailers but Borders is exclusively selling the Twilight Saga: New Moon DVD Collector's Edition Gift Set. Here are some of the features of the two-disc set from the Borders press release:
Two-sided high-quality medallion featuring the Wolf-Pack tattoo design cast in warm golden tones and a silver-toned Cullen crest.
11 exclusive extended scenes from the film including the pivotal
segment where Jacob visits in Bella in her room and the scene where
Edward meets with the Volturi in Italy;
Exclusive interviews with cast members Robert Pattinson (Edward),
Kristen Stewart (Bella), Taylor Lautner (Jacob), the Cullen Family,
the Wolf Pack, the Volturi and film director Chris Weitz;
Exclusive Red Carpet footage from the global movie premiere in Los
Angeles featuring interviews with Pattinson, Stewart, Ashley Greene
(Alice) as well as several other cast members; and
Front row seats to Borders' own The Twilight Saga: New Moon Webcast
featuring all of the top Twilight fan sites and special guest Charlie
Bewley, who plays Demetri in the film.
Borders New Moon DVD release party activites will include charades, a New Moon movie debate sponsored by fan site TwilightSeriesTheories.com and a New Moon quote contest. The parties will also include the "Borders Movie Awards," where fans in each Borders store will have the opportunity to cast their votes in award categories such as "Best Shirtless Moment," "Best Fight," "Best Scene," "Best Song" and "Most Reckless Bella Moment."
