Peoplereports that Betty White will be hosting SNL. She confirmed the news to People at Elton John's Oscar party. Betty White has been surprised by the groundswell of support from fans on the Facebook page and elsewhere, but she is very excited by it.
When asked by PEOPLE, "Are you doing Saturday Night Live," she answered, "Yes," even if she remains perplexed by the groundswell of support.
"I don't know why or how," she says, "but it's been wonderful."
Betty White was hilarious with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds on the Funny or Die skit for The Proposal.
