Procter and Gamble Recalls Two Pringles Flavors

Recalled Pringles

Procter & Gamble, in response to a recommendation from the FDA to the food industry, announced that it is voluntarily recalling Pringles Restaurant Cravers Cheeseburger potato crisps and Pringles Family Faves Taco Night potato crisps as part of an industry ingredient recall to protect consumers from potential Salmonella exposure. One of P&G's suppliers uses a seasoning that contains hydrolyzed vegetable protein (HVP) manufactured by Basic Food Flavors, Inc.. Basic Food Flavor recently recalled several lots of this ingredient because of potential salmonella exposure.

These strange Pringles flavors do not look very appetizing.
