Celebrity Cruises Mercury Ship Hit With Stomach Bug Again
Dozens of passengers aboard Celebrity Cruises' Mercury cruise ship are sick with a stomach virus after it left Charleston, South Carolina. This is the exact same ship that was hit by a norovirus about a week ago. It has not been determined if this is exactly the same bug that recently infected passengers aboard the previous cruise, but it sounds very similar. Celebrity Cruises did rest the ship after the previous cruise to disinfect it. Either the disinfection wasn't thorough enough or some sick crew members or passengers inadvertently carried it back onboard again. Take a look:
