In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday, First Lady Michelle Obama read The Cat in the Hat aloud at the Library of Congress during the National Education Association's Read Across America event yesterday. Michelle Obama was joined by Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and NEA President Dennis Van Roekel. The students listening to the reading were given red and white Cat in the Hat hats to wear.
