Shutter Island is Top Film For Second Straight Weekend
The Martin Scorsese directed thriller, Shutter Island, is the weekend's top film for the second straight week. The film made another $22 million to bring its total box office take to $75 million. Cop Out, director Kevin Smith's cop comedy starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan opened in second and made $18.6 million. The Crazies, a horror remake starring Timothy Olyphant, opened in third and made $16.5 million. Avatar is still hanging around in fourth place and Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief took fifth place. You can see the weekend's full box office chart here.
