Singer Katy Perry covers the March issue of Nylon magazine. Katy Perry talked with Nylon about her fashion and her music. She says her guilty pleasure at the moment is her boyfriend, comedian ussell Brand. She is also fond of strawberries.
On her changing fashion aesthetic:
"Some of the kid shit I've grown out of completely... I'm taking it out of the Shirley Temple, Betty Boop, Lichtenstein kind of thing. It's still fun, but a bit darker. It's not as annoying. Sometimes, I feel like a big strawberry with a face on it."
On her changing music:
"Sometimes I really feel like I'm more of a Taylor Swift... Love has really affected my songwriting. I know how to handle a man now."
About I Kissed a Girl:
"It was never meant to be a Girls Gone Wild song. It was meant to be fun, sweet, cute, kind of tongue in cheek... but now I'm comfortable with saying, 'Actually, I've been with a woman.'"
