Salma Hayek was at a book launch party for her hairstylist Robert Vetica when she let slip that she is developing a beauty line in connection with a drugstore chain.
When Salma Hayek came out Thursday night to host a book party for her friend and longtime hairstylist Robert Vetica, she demurred, "I am just the [book's] cover girl," but let slip that she was working on a beauty venture. "I shouldn't be talking about this," she said outside of Beso restaurant in Hollywood. "I am trying to develop a line with a drugstore. I have been doing research for two or three years. My approach is how we can get the essence of the really expensive [products] for everyone."
While she declined to give specifics, Hayek said that blush, mascara and concealer were the most important items in her makeup bag.
We'll be interested to see what she comes up with.
