Yuruppy is a small handheld touchscreen game from Takara Tomy that lets you play with a virtual pet. Yuruppy pet options include a puppy, kitten and a chicken. You can pet the virtual animal by rubbing your fingers on the screen.
The Yuruppy could give the popular Tamagotchi virtual pets a good challenge.
CrunchGear says that a standard Yuruppy version will cost $21 and a deluxe edition will cost $38. CrungGear also says Yuruppy comes out first in Japan in June and that it should roll out in other countries after that.
