Cam Newton Wears Under Armour E39 Compression Shirt
Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Cam Newton is pictured above wearing an Under Armour E39 Compression Shirt. Wiredsays the hi-tech shirt contains a sensor pack that can transmit accelerometry data to smartphones, tablets and other devices. This data can be used to track a player's heart rate, breathing rate, body movements and other biometric data.
CNN talked to Under Armour's Kevin Haley about the company's new shirt. Haley says the shirt will be available for the public in late 2012. Take a look:
