CBS5 reports that the Virgin Megastore on Union Square in San Francisco is going to close in April. Liquidation sales will begin in March. ABC7 also has a story on the San Francisco Virgina Megastore closing. They connect it to the collapse of CD sales.
Virgin will also close its Time Square megastore in April. After the closing of the San Francisco and New York Virgin megastores there will be just three left. The remaining stores are located in Hollywood, Denver and Orlando.
