Nintendo Announces DSi XL, Larger Version of Its Portable Game Player
Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing, shows off the Nintendo DSi XL at Nintendo's Q1 Media Summit. The new Nintendo DSi XL hand-held system will launch March 28th with a suggested retail price of $189.99. The screens of the Nintendo DSi XL are 93% larger than those of the Nintendo DS Lite model. The screens also feature a wider viewing angle.
The new system will be available in Burgundy and Bronze colors. It will come loaded with pre-installed software, including Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters, Brain Age Express: Math and Photo Clock, as well as two free applications: the Nintendo DSi Browser and Flipnote Studio. Nintendo DSi XL will also come with a larger pen-like stylus for sue when playing games that use the Nintendo DS touch screen.
