Vogue UK is reporting that Miss Selfridge, a UK fashion brand and retailer, is collaborating with Warner Bros and Gossip Girl to create a collection of eight dresses based on the fashion styles of the four female lead characters. The collection will be inspired by the designs of Gossip Girl costume designer Eric Daman.
Vogue UK says the dresses will include a leopard print dress for Vanessa Abrams, a ruffle front shift dress with a floral skirt for Blair Waldorf, a black bandage dress for Serena van der Woodsen and a nude and black lace skirt for Jenny Humphrey.
Yasmin Yusuf, creative director of Miss Selfridge said, "We are delighted to be working with the Warner Bros television series, Gossip Girl. The dresses we've created based on the characters fit perfectly with our spring/summer 2010 range. Our customers love the show and the styles of the girls, so the partnership is a perfect match."
