Printies Let Children Create Stuffed Toys From Home
Another new toy at this year's Toy Fair are Printies Design Studio kits, which allow children to make their own stuff toys. With Printies children can bring designs created online at MyPrinties.com to life as soft 3-D stuffed toys. Here's how Techno Source describes the Printies procedure: "It's simple: design online at MyPrinties.com, print on both sides of Printies fabric sheets with any inkjet printer, tear along the perforated shape and pop out the Printies design, stuff it and put it on display!"
The Printies line will debut with three themed activity kits: Printies Pet Design Studio, Printies Ocean Design Studio, and Printies Jungle Design Studio. Each kit will retails for $19.99 and includes materials for making six complete Printies using a home PC and inkjet printer. Techno Source will also sell refill packs for $9.99.
