Six Foot Tall Lego Jack Sparrow Unveiled at Toy Fair
This six foot tall Lego sculpture of Jack Sparrow from Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean was unveiled at a preview event to the American International Toy Fair. That's actor Ian McShane, who plays the pirate Blackbeard in Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, standing next to Lego Jack Sparrow in the photograph. Over 150,000 Lego bricks were used to make the statue. On Stranger Tides arrives in theaters in May, 2011 and a Pirates toy line will arrive in stores in March.
