Bruce Littlefield has some great tips for homemade valentines. He says store bought greeting cards are okay but suggests at least underline some of the words on the card to make it more personal. He recommends buying a big pad of different colored paper at the crafts store. It can be used for cut-out valentine hearts and for other cut-outs during different holidays.
