Video: Slim Miss San Antonio Fired For Being Too Fat
17 year old Miss San Antonio, Domonique Ramirez, has filed a lawsuit against the Miss Bexar County Organization for stripping her of her crown. ABC news reports that the board took her crown away because they said she gained some weight. The pageant officials claim she showed up late for scheduled events and even held hands with her boyfriend once (the horror!), but the word is they thought she was too fat. As you can see from the video, the allegations are absurd.
The pageant board spokeswoman Linda Woods said that Ramirez
"was doing a photo shoot and asked to wear her wardrobe from the competition, but it did not fit her. I told her we need to get you on an exercise program. We need to get ready to compete for Miss Texas, just like any elite athlete."
Dominique is very upset and denies the allegations that she is unreliable. She told the local news:
"I shouldn't have to be slandered like this and my future shouldn't have to be ruined over this." Take a look:
The parties will be back in court on February 16th.
