The allegations that Chris Brown assualted his girlfriend Rihanna has stolen most of the Grammy headlines. Both stars were no shows at the Grammys. The details are very sketchy but TMZ says that Rihanna has been confirmed by police as the victim of the assult and that the incident is described as "assault with a deadly weapon."
Law enforcement sources tell us the crime report calls the incident assault with a deadly weapon -- we do not yet know the nature of the weapon.
The crime report gives the victim's name as Robyn Fenty -- that's Rihanna's real name.
TMZ also says that despite the deadly weapon charge there was no weapon but TMZ says a law enforcement source told them that Rihanna suffered contusions and bite marks." Chris Brown was arrested and has already been released after posting $50,000 bail. Whatever happened we hope Rihanna is ok.
