A monster snowstorm is headed to Washington D.C. Record snowfalls are expected. The region could get as much as 30 inches of snow according to the National Weather Service (NWS). The NWS says "with expected snowfall total of 20-30 inches from this storm..the major climate sites at DCA/BWI/IAD will be approaching all time records for snowfall in a season..."
