Tadaaki Wakamatsu Designs Mercedes Benz That Looks Like a Chocolate Bar

Car manufacturer Mercedes Benz just unveiled a chocolate-themed version of its Smart car in Tokyo, just in time for St. Valentine's Day. The car was designed by Tadaaki Wakamatsu for Japanese accessories company, Q-Pot. The car has been painted to look like a bar of chocolate. It retails for around $28,500.

Valentine's Day is taken very seriously in Japan. On the 14th women must give a gift of chocolate to every man in their lives, from boyfriends to bosses. Then, the men reciprocate on White Day when they give (more expensive) gifts to the women.

The designer told The Telegraph: "I designed this car hoping that not only men but also women would drive this car and spend sweet time at the wheel." If you'd like one, you have until March 13th to get your order in, although we're not exactly sure what kind of customer wants a Smart car painted to look like chocolate. Perhaps an eco-conscious, Mercedes-loving chocolate fanatic? Take a look:
