Analyst Rob Enderle Concerned Apple Tablet Could Cost Over $1,000
Rob Enderle, president of Enderle Group, talked with Bloomberg's Lori Rothman about Apple's tablet computer. Apple will be introducing its tablet at a press conference tomorrow. Rob Enderle is concerned about the possible price of the device. When Apple launched the iPhone in 2007 the price was $600. Rob Enderle thinks the tablet may cost over $1,000. Enderle says the $1,000 price has them "very, very worried." However, he does say demand for the tablet looks strong. Enderle says $250 is the "sweet spot" for an ebook reader but the market wants a "blended device" - like the tablet - that can do multiple things. He also says the Apple Tablet could revolution the textbook industry. You can watch Bloomberg's interview with Rob Enderle here.
