Bonmarche, a UK fashion chain, will close 160 stores. The Telegraphreports Bonmarch is being sold by the Peacocks Group to Sun European Partners, a privaty equity firm. The deal will result in 1400 lost jobs and 160 closed stores. Bonmarche will continue with 230 stores following the sale.
Peacocks is also up for sale. Peacocks announced plans to sell itself on January 19. The Telegraph says two private equity groups are considering buy Peacocks.
