The Detroit Newsreports that Borders Group is
selling its Day by Day Calendar Co. The calendar business included 420 kiosks and temporary calendar stores. Calendar Holdings LLC is acquiring the business from Borders.
AnnArbor.com notes the struggling booksellers had said previously it would be selling some assets to boost its financial position. AnnArbor.com also says Borders laid off 40 employees last week.
