A spokesman for Francois Pinault's Artemis group has strenuously denied British reports that the firm is quietly trying to find a buyer for the legendary vineyard Chateau Latour.
Artemis, Francois Pinault's investment holding company, is not looking to go on a selling spree. In response to rumors circulating in the British press that the firm is shopping around its tony Chateau Latour vineyard, as well as the Christie's international auction house, an Artemis spokeswoman stated Tuesday that they are "totally unfounded and formally denied Artemis is involved in a process of transferring Chateau Latour or any of its strategic assets."
That's very interesting because there were multiple reports about the proposed sale. Perhaps Pinault had a change of heart?
