Jason Wu Gets Many Website Vistors, Plans Fur Collection
Fashion Week Dailyreports that Jason Wu, the 26-year-old designer who created Michelle Obama's inauguration ballgown, received 4 million visitors to his website on Wednesday. Jason Wu's website can be found at jasonwustudio.com. Fashion Week Daily also says that Wu is planing a "significant fur collection."
Despite the media circus, Wu remains busy working on his Fall 2009 collection, which will be shown Friday, February 13 at Exit Art. "I'm doing a significant fur collection, and the message will be all about luxury," he revealed to The Daily last week. "Fashion is also sort of escapism, and women need beautiful dresses to lose themselves in."
A fur collection could cause a backlash for the now famous young designer. Not only will he upset PETA but he could get a letter from Tim Gunn. (via The Cut)
