Wendy's has launched a new restaurant in Tokyo. The restaurant is Wendy's first in Japan since it exited the country in 2009. Nation's Restaurant Newsreports that Wendy's has big plans for Japan. They plan to open 100 restaurants in the next five years. Wendy's eventually plans to have 700 restaurants in Japan.
The new Wendy's in Tokyo has some unique menu items not sold elsewhere. Eater reports that the menu includes foie gras hamburgers, an Avocado Wasabi hamburger and a Truffle and a Porcini Grilled Chicken sandwich.
