Emeril Lagasse Talks Paula Deen, Diabetes, Makes Braised Pot Roast With Vegetables
Chef Emeril Lagasse appeared on Good Morning America to prepare his Simple Braised Pot Roast With Vegetables. Robin Roberts asked Emeril about the diabetes diagnosis of his good friend Paula Deen. Emeril had nothing but kind words for Paula. Although he does not have diabetes, Emeril says the disease runs in his family and he cooks many dishes that are diabetic-friendly. He told Robin,
"We in our household have been dealing with it [diabetes] for many, many years. In the words of Julia Child, 'it's about moderation.'" Take a look:
