Sony is ending developer support for the Sony Dash, its tablet-like alarm clock device, which runs on the Chumby OS. Dash developer support will end on March 31st. This means there will be no new apps created for the Dash. However, Sony will continue to support existing Dash apps. Here is the message Sony has posted on the developer site:
Beginning February 29th, 2012, the Sony Dash developer website will close and no longer support development of new applications. This closure includes the Dash developer forum and Dash developer support, which will close on March 31st. Sony Dash applications will remain available. Thank you for your contributions and we encourage you to continue your development activity on Sony's other platforms available at SonyDeveloper.com.
