Apple Loses Legal Battle Over iPad Trademark in China
Apple has lost a battle over the iPad trademark in China to a Hong Kong based company named Proview Technology. Proview reportedly filed for the iPad trademark in China in 2000, which was long before Apple conceived of its iPad tablet. Proview is reportedly open to a settlement so presumably Apple could pay them a bunch of money so they could use the iPad trademark in China. Take a look:
