Michelle Obama Wears Alexander McQueen Gown, Kimberly McDonald Earrings to White House State Dinner
First Lady Michelle Obama looked lovely in a red Alexander McQueen gown at the White House state dinner honoring Chinese President, Hu Jintao. Michelle Obama accessorized with one-of-a-kind black geode and ruby Kimberly McDonald earrings.
Kimberly McDonald said, "I feel honored that Mrs. Obama chose to wear my earrings for the prestigious international event last night. She has become a style icon and is admired around the globe for her choices. I am proud that she opted for my geode and ruby earrings – these earrings are handmade in the United States with first quality craftsmanship; they are made from natural materials and reclaimed gold, and really hone in on unique design elements. I thought that they looked perfect on our fabulous and eco-conscious First Lady."
