CBS Consumer Products has released images of Mattel's new Star Trek Barbie dolls. The dolls above are modeled after the actors playing Captain Kirk (Chris Pine), Spock (Zachary Quinto), and Lieutenant Uhura (Zoe Saldana). The film is going to be in threates on May 8th. The dolls won't be sold in stores until April. Reuters says CBS Consumer Products has the licensing rights for the Star Trek film.
We think the dolls look great - much better than many of movie tie-in action figures you often see. Action Figure Insider says the dolls will retail for $43.19 and be sold at Walmart, walmart.com, Barbiecollector.com and Barbie collector dealers.
