Stripper poles have emerged from the strip clubs into the arena of athletic competition. The international pole dancing contest was held in Tokyo for both men and women. Athletes were required to dress modestly and not to interact with the audience. Australia took top honors in the men's competition and Japan took top honors in the women's. Organizers said a lot of gymnasts and circus performers were competing. So, will this make it into a future Olympic games? Take a look:
