Victoria Beckham's Dress Collection Stolen in London Heist
The Daily Mailreports that Victoria Beckhams' dress collection was stolen in London. The collection of 50 to 75 dresses valued at $575,000 was stolen from a delivery truck in what is being called a well-planned heist. The dresses were bound for Heathrow Airport and then for Neiman Marcus in New York City.
Victoria Beckham was said to be shocked and upset last night after a £350,000 collection of new dresses was stolen in a knife-point hijack.
The designs, from the former Spice Girl's self-titled fashion line, were stolen from a lorry in a well-planned heist.
The delivery, believed to include between 50 and 75 dresses, destined for sale at Neiman Marcus in New York, had been hijacked soon after it was collected from the offices of 19 Entertainment, in west London, on Thursday.
The truck driver was bruised in the attack as he was pushed to the ground by the robbers. The Daily Mail says Mrs. Beckham's spokeswoman hopes they can remake the dresses from the spring/summer collection in time for delivery to Neiman Marcus.
