KB Toys Raises Price of Lindsay Lohan Doll After Bloggers Notice It
You can see Mattel's Lindsay Lohan doll here on the KBtoys.com website where it is currently selling for $12.99 - down from an initial retail price of $24.99. When Perez Hilton mentioned the doll last week it was being sold by KB Toys for just $4.99. Some blogs are jumping on the idea that the doll isn't wanted because it is a Lindsay Lohan doll. That could be, but another issue making the doll a tough sell might be that the doll just does not look enough like Lindsay Lohan. If it weren't for Lindsay's name on the chair some people probably wouldn't even think it was meant to look like her.
Tiffany Hsu, blogging for the L.A. Times, reported last week that the doll was selling for just $4.99. She also reported that Lohan's publicist says the doll has been around for four years so it could be discounted because it is no longer new. A blog for the Mirror also reported the $4.99 price for the Mattel Lohan doll. If you wanted this doll for $4.99 you should have bought it last week because KBtoys.com has since raised the price to $12.99.
