Alicia Keys covers the December/January 2010 issue of Uptown magazine. In the issue Alicia Keys discusses her latest album, her new company AK Worldwide and how she deals with rumors and haters. In the interview, Alicia says, "I don't know where I’d be without music. I am always really excited about what I do."
Alicia's next album, The Element of Freedom, arrives in stores on December 15th. She had this to say about what the word "freedom" in the album's title means to her. "Every song on the album has an element of freedom to it, be it the way the drums knock uncontrollably or the way my voice soars or just the way the music feels altogether. It also represents being totally free to be yourself. Being able to fly and being unrestrained and not held back-I think we’re all searching for that."
