Samsung announced a new flat-screen television at the Consumer Electronics Show this year. Samsung calls the tv the "world's slimmest LCD TV." As you can see in the video from IGN below the television is incredibly thin. It is only .3 inches thick. The 55-inch TV could be available for purchase as early as Spring, 2010. It also comes with a touchscreen remote. Take a look:
