Posted on January 16, 2013

Harajuku Hugs, a line of Harajuku plush toys and accessories, will launch at Build-A-Bear Workshop stores on January 18th. Gwen Stefani first launched her Harajuku Lovers brand in 2005.

Gwen says, "I'm so excited to share the Harajuku Hugs line with everyone. This is the first time we've had the apparel available for stuffed animals and I hope all of the fashion loving kids out there have so much fun mixing and matching all the different styles on their Harajuku Hugs Panda."

In addition to the Harajuku Hugs Panda ($20) with pink and heart details, the assortment of products includes a graphic hoodie ($7), heart dress ($13.50), top and skegging set ($13.50), "G I Love U" pajama set ($12.50), "G" purse ($6.50), bows ($2.50), slippers ($6.50), and a mini G doll ($5).

Maxine Clark, Build-A-Bear Workshop founder, says, "Harajuku Hugs clothing looks perfect on the Panda and is made to fit all stuffed animals available at Build-A-Bear Workshop."

The Build-A-Bear Workshop shared a cute photograph on Facebook of Gwen Stefani holding one of the panda bears as well as a photo of the Harajuku Hugs Panda.
