Contraband, starring Mark Wahlberg and Kate Beckinsale, won the weekend box office. The film $24.5 million, which was enough to keep it ahead of the 3D release of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, which made $17.7 million. Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol made $11.7 million. It is now just about $13 million away from reaching the $200 million mark. Joyful Noise, starring Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton, opened in fourth place and made $11.3 million.
