The crowds went wild for Madonna at the opening of her new Hard Candy Fitness gym in Mexico City. CBS reports that Madonna was met by the mayor Marcelo Ebrard and his wife, actress Mariagna Pratts, as well as her Mexico City-based investors. The gym is in the upscale Lomas Altas neighborhood.
When asked if she was worried about the danger from the drug violence, Madonna
said she wasn't worried, "A lot of places I go to are considered dangerous whether that's Tel Aviv or Rio, that never stops me from going somewhere to put on a show. I'm not hindered by that. I have good security and I'm not worried about it." Reporters had lots of questions and Madonna gamely fired off answers to all of them. We are very happy to hear that as soon as she finishes her Wallis Simpson movie, she's heading back into the recording studio. Take a look:
